Dr. Kelly Kan is a chiropractic physician who has a special place in her heart for children. She manages patients of all ages with chronic conditions but her main focus is children suffering with ADD, ADHD and ASD (autism spectrum disorders), She does this by merging the exciting advances in functional neurology, brain based therapy, functional medicine, and biofeedback including neurofeedback. Dr. Kelly addresses every patient both neurologically and metabolically to uncover the root cause of chronic illness.
Dr. Kelly was born in Canada and grew up close to the mountains and the ocean. She received her Bachelor of Science from Simon Fraser University. From there she traveled to Southern California and received her Doctor of Chiropractic from the Southern California University of Heath Sciences. Upon graduation she moved to Arizona and has had successful practices treating families in the valley. She has successfully completed course work in functional medicine, nutrition, functional neurology, women’s health and hormones, gluten sensitivity, functional blood chemistry, functional brain chemistry, thyroid and adrenal health. She has advanced training in functional medicine, functional neurology, QEEG neurofeedback, heart rate variability biofeedback. She is a Certifified Functional Medicine Practitioner, Certified Gluten Practitioner and Certified Wellness Coach. Currently she is working towards a certification through the BCIA and a diplomate in functional neurology.
Dr. Kelly and her husband live in Gilbert Arizona with their four children. They enjoy all outdoor activities and spending time together being active. She enjoys working out, reading, learning, hiking and spending quality time with her friends and family. Dr. Kelly is passionate about children reaching their full potential in life and overcoming obstacles with their health to live optimally. She believes in the God given ability of the body to heal and regulate itself and that the body, mind and spirit must be in alignment for healing to take place. It is her faith in God that gives her the compassion and commitment to help patients with chronic conditions find hope and healing.
